Below you will see pictures and updates from our previous trip. Look at how much fun was had!
Day Three
For our final morning, we had glorious sunshine! Yet again, we were treated to a cooked breakfast before getting stuck in to our activities. One group went on the zip wire, while the other did some grass sledging. Both were very exciting! We also went abseiling into a lovely grotto.
We can’t believe how quickly the days have flown by! What a brilliant experience!
Day Two
We have had a brilliant start to the day! Breakfast was incredible. So many cooked options, and toast, cereal and fruit as well! We now have plenty of energy for today’s activities - starting off with the hill walk.
After breakfast we all went for the hill walk together. A short coach journey took us to Carding Mill, where we finished a superb 5k circular walk. The scenery was incredible but the beautiful weather we had in the morning did not follow us up to the top of the hill! We got a little soggy, but stayed in good spirits.
After lunch - another delicious meal - the two groups split up to do grass sledging, zip wire and Survival Skills. We also had time to celebrate a special occasion! What a brilliant trip we are having!
Day One
We made great time on the coach this afternoon and arrived at Manor Adventure at 2:30. Since then we have been busy, busy, busy! Both groups have completed their first activities - bike skills and bouldering. We had a brilliant time at both of them and are starting to know some of the instructors. It has definitely been an adventure so far!
We are very proud of how polite Willow Class have been, which has been mentioned by two different instructors now! Well done Willow Class you are representing Andoversford very well.
Tonight we had a delicious meal. The food choices were excellent, with Pork Ribs, Lasagna, Chicken and Mushroom Pie or Vegetarian Spring Rolls on offer. Everyone has eaten a hearty meal to give us plenty of energy for the activities over the next few days.
Children are now having some quiet time in their rooms before bedtime!
