Charity run completed for Tic+9 October 2024 (by Hayley Armstrong (admin)) |
Last Saturday, one of our Year 5 pupils took part in a sponsored run with her training group from the Cheltenham Harriers.
The sporting challenge was to run around the track as many times as possible in 20 minutes. Our pupil managed to run around it 10.5 times, resulting in over 4km being ran by her in total – impressive work!
The group were raising money for Tic+, a Gloucestershire-based charity that support children and young people aged between 9-25 with valuable counselling services. The charity aims to improve, preserve and promote good mental health for children, young adults and their families.
Our pupil managed to raise nearly £200 for Tic+. To find out more about what they do, you can view their website: About Us - Tic+ (ticplus.org.uk)
An excellent cause and a very well done from all of us here at school!
