Residential Meeting2 October 2024 (by Rachel Bradley McKay (Head)) |
The Willow Class Residential is fast approaching. We hope you are getting prepared and starting to gather all the kit your child needs. We recommend lots of socks to keep feet warm and dry! Thin layers are much more useful than thick items as they can be added to, or removed, depending on the weather - they also dry much more quickly. It is also very useful to have at least 2 pairs of outdoor boots/sturdy shoes just in case they get wet. Now is a good time to start working on confidence with lacing - it can be more difficult when boots get wet and/or muddy so the more practice the better.
Full details can be found on the Y5/6 Residential page of the website - see link below. Remember items on the kits list do not need to be new - in fact old is better as we do tend to get muddy! You can also find the FAQs, links to the centre we are visiting and an overview of our previous stay at Culmington Manor.
On Tuesday 15th October, we will be holding a parent meeting to discuss the final details of the trip. We hope you can join us, but don't hesitate to get in touch if you have a question linked to your child's individual needs.
