Autumn Clubs Offer 5 September 2024 (by Hayley Armstrong (admin)) |
Following the consultation in the Summer Term, we have set up a clubs model based on what you asked for. Parents requested a range of different activities, and to have different options which may suit different age groups too. We have also set up new partnerships with external providers to help increase the capacity - with a focus on quality.
We have been able to offer 8 different clubs for the Autumn Term, however the uptake during the booking window means that not all clubs are viable at the moment. In school, children have responded very positively to the opportunities on offer but as this has not been cemented by bookings, we are going to re-open the bookings to hopefully give those who missed out, a chance to secure a place.
We are pleased to be working with Move More, who have previously supported the curriculum. Move More have a great reputation for supporting schools across Gloucestershire and organise sporting events such as the Athletics Competitions at The Prince of Wales Stadium.
We are also delighted to partner with T2i, a Sports Company with a focus on psychology and mental wellbeing. t2i believes that the top two inches are the most important part of the body, not just as a young player, but as a young person. As child psychology is the development of how children think, feel and behave, it stands to reason that the use of sports psychology to improve children’s mind and behaviour, will lead to significant impact in their overall psychological development.
