School Uniform4 July 2024 (by Hayley Armstrong (admin)) |
We have noticed a few non-regulation uniform items creeping into school over recent weeks. School uniform should be worn by all pupils on every day that they are in school.
Plain black school shoes should be worn by all pupils every day, apart from on Funky Feet Friday when children can wear any shoes they like if they have walked to school that week.
Long hair should be tied up and don't forget sunhats at this time of year!
A wristwatch and a single pair of stud earrings are the only items of jewellery permitted in school.
Make-up, including nail varnish should not be worn in school.
We encourage children to take care of their things as much as possible during the day, but we do often have items left on the benches, playground or field. Please name all items of uniform so that we can return them to their rightful owner if they have been misplaced.
All children also need a separate outdoor learning kit in school. This should include a long-sleeved top and long trousers even in the summer months. It is very important that arms and legs are covered to avoid small scratches and stings. This enables children to feel more comfortable when exploring our Forest School area.
More information regarding our uniform requirements can be found on the school website.
If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
Thank you.
