News from our Celebration Assembly last week 1 July 2024 (by Hayley Armstrong (admin)) |
Last week, we shared our musical talents with the school community at our music concert. We loved sharing our class songs as well as signing as a whole school. There were also lots of individual performers who have been working hard at their flute, guitar and piano lessons. Don’t forget to contact the school office if your child is interested in learning an instrument!
During our weekly Celebration Assembly on Friday, we had lots of ASPIRE awards, some for fantastic writing (including one for all of Beech Class), and for overcoming nerves and superb performances in the music concert. Well done Aspire award winners! Ash Class also received certificates for their great work in Balanceability.
We also had several celebrations of achievements outside school including Orlaith in Y2 who achieved her orange belt and Immy in Y1 who took part in a gymnastics competition this weekend and won 5 medals, including first place in her group!
Millie won our Mystery Reader this week for the second week in a row! She donated ‘Mole’s Quiet Place’ to Ash Class.
House points:
Bluebell: 31
Buttercup: 30
Thistle: 33
Rose: 36
The whole school total is 8752. We had our second clue as to the destination of our Aspire Reward trip today. The clue was: ‘The coach journey will take less than an hour’. The anticipation is building as to where it could be!
