Thank you for your feedback about after-school clubs and wrap-around provision. We are in the process of finalising details for next year and have taken your views into account.

We are very pleased to be able to offer a range of different activities – and were pleased that you agreed with this by rating the choice of activities on average as 4.08 out of 5!

We are currently talking to a few providers to be able to offer a good range of activities. Some people mentioned having different options for different age groups – this is something we will look at, however, with the small size of our school this is not always possible as it means that clubs become too small and need more adults to run. If it is possible, we will have this option available.

We will also be changing the collection arrangements in line with your feedback. More people chose the fixed collection point option, so from September, we will have a collection option at 4:20 for the end of the activity session and a later collection available at 5:30. As the majority was not significant, we will seek feedback about this aspect again at the end of the Autumn Term to see the impact of the changes.

We have also received some feedback about the behaviour of some pupils being less respectful than we would expect for the external providers. We will be keeping a close eye on this and appreciate parents’ support to make sure that all feedback is acted on. We want everyone to be able to enjoy the activities and those who cause persistent disruption will not be able to attend.

Finally, we would like to ensure our clubs and activities are inclusive and available to everyone. If your child is eligible for Free School Meals please do get in touch when the booking window opens as we will be able to subsidise the costs.
