South Gloucestershire and Stroud College (SGS) are running a Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid.  The qualification is perfect for those who are currently employed, or wish to be employed in a childcare setting, parents, grandparents or anyone caring or responsible for the care of a child.  It is predominantly targeted at the Early Years workforce hence it being delivered on a Saturday however, it may be of use for anyone caring for children and wanting to be aware of what to do in a first aid incident.

The range of skills covered include first aid and resuscitation procedures for infants and children as well as learning how to provide emergency treatment until the arrival of the emergency medical services.

It is a 12 hour course costing £110 per person and will be held over 2 Saturdays – 25^th May and 1^st June, 9.30am – 4pm at SGS College Wise Campus, Bristol BS34 8LP
