Today, Willow Class were visited by PC Davis, our local Schoobeat Police Officer who talked to the children about internet safety with a particular focus on Social Media.  Lots of the class admitted to having access to various social media platforms and were unaware that there are age limits for such apps.

There are lots of benefits with social media; it is a great way of staying in touch with family and friends.  However, as with most things, there can also be a negative side too and as parents, it is important that you help keep your child safe online.

The NSPCC has lots of really useful information to assist parents with online safety.  Take a look at their website for some handy hints and tips to make sure we are all doing our bit to ensure children can navigate this virtual world safely.
