We have been notified that the Leylandii trees situated on the opposite side of the road to the school are being cut down and chopped for wood pulp during the period 4^th  to 7^th September 2023. The contractors apologise that this work is being carried out during term time but they have had to rely on Scottish and Southern Electricity removing electric cables which run through the trees and the dates were set by them.

There will be a traffic light system in place during the course of the works but they are hopeful that there will be minimal disruption to parents dropping off and collecting children from school.

If things go well, the works may be completed in 3 days but they have allowed an extra day in case it is needed.
