Today we had a visit from Gloucestershire Libraries who came to tell us all about their Summer Reading Challenge.   The Library Challenge aims to get children aged 3 to 12 years old and their families discovering everything their library service has to offer, with discovering and maintaining a passion for reading still at its core. Children who read for pleasure throughout the school summer break are proven to maintain or improve their reading attainment levels, and summer initiatives such as The Library Challenge aim to support this.
