Today is the 3rd of February which means one thing... Time to launch our World Book Day Challenge! Last year, we were absolutely blown away by the Book in a Box entries, so we had to think of a way to top that. This year, we would like to invite you to our Wooden Spoon competition. Design a character (or set of characters) from your favourite story to enter. 

Children can draw or paint onto the plain wooden spoons - and can even add clothing or accessories to bring the character to life. Top tip: pipe cleaners work a treat.

All completed characters need to be brought into school on Thursday 2nd March 2023. Judging will take place throughout the day and prizes will be awarded for each class. We can't wait to see what you come up with!

PS: We will have a stock of blank wooden spoons in school which your child can collect if you don't have a spare one at home.
