So much to celebrate27 January 2023 (by Rachel Bradley McKay (Head)) |
This week I had the pleasure of showing some visitors around our school. It was a fantastic opportunity to reflect on just how special our school is. We have a real gem! I've had great feedback from colleague headteachers about our learning environments, the incredible Early Years facilities and lots of great comments on the brilliant quality work our pupils achieve. Andoversford is a shining example! Well done everyone.
In school, we are celebrating the achievements of this brilliant bunch. Beech Class also had an ASPIRE certificate after their incredible work in their cooking and nutrition unit. The way they have followed instructions is fab - this week they used their own books to follow the steps for making our pizza dough! Great work!
It was a very exciting week for ASPIRE points too - with very very close totals. This week, two houses collected 83 points each, one house had 84 and the winning Roses had 86. Super tight! Our current totals are:
Bluebell = 784
Buttercup = 825
Rose = 957
Thistle = 947
Whole School = 3, 513
Enjoy your weekend
