Now that the path from the village hall to the school’s back gate has been completed, it is suitable for use in all weathers.

All families were allocated a specific gate to use at drop-off and pick-up for school depending on where they live; whether they walk to school or whether they come by car. 

If you do drive to school, even on the odd occasion, please park at the village hall and use the back gate.  The front gate should ideally only be used by families who walk to school.  There is limited parking outside the school and being located on a busy road, we are keen to reduce congestion at drop-off and pick-up times.

There have been a few near misses outside school recently and some dangerous manoeuvres during rush hour.  Cars parked in the layby significantly reduce visibility for children crossing the road to get to and from school. In an effort to keep everyone safe, please think carefully before you park outside the school’s front gate.
