Wild Weather24 November 2022 (by Rachel Bradley McKay (Head)) |
At the moment, the weather doesn't seem to be able to make up its mind! We are experiencing sun, rain, wind all in quick succession during the day. Collection time at the end of school seems to be the most common time for the rain to start though.
During these changeable times, it is very useful for your child to have outdoor clothing appropriate for the season in school. Waterproofs or a change of clothes can be left in the cloakrooms or lockers to help everyone to stay prepared. We do go outside and enjoy our incredible outdoor facilities in all weathers. Being outdoors, even in the rain, can really be a boost for your health and wellbeing - we love the outdoors here at Andoversford!
We do have plenty of spares in school if needed. If you do have any uniform or coats that your child has grown out of, we welcome donations to top up our stock. Equally if you find that you don't have something which you need, please let us know and we can help out where we can. The PTFA also has lots of good-quality second hand uniform available.
