Lidl supermarkets have one Christmas wish this year - for all children to wake up to a present on Christmas morning.  They have therefore launched Lidl Bear’s Toy Bank in every store nationwide, where they are collecting new or unopened toys and games to be gifted to local children in need of support. Every Lidl store will be linked with a local charity so that donations will directly benefit children in our local communities.

All donations, whether a small stocking filler or something bigger, will help make a child’s Christmas.

We will be making our own collection here at school until the end of term when we will then take our donations to our local Lidl store.

Please join us in donating a gift to make a difference.  Brand new or unopened toys and games can be brought into school from now until Thursday 15^th December.

Donations must be new in original packaging or unopened. Anything from a small stocking filler or something bigger are welcome, with sought after gifts including toys, games, books, puzzles, and arts and crafts for a range of ages.

In addition, Lidl has committed £250k for charities during the festive period – including a £125k donation for the toy bank initiative – and has also pledged to donate more meals than ever over the festive period.
