GCC’s Family and ESOL department for Adult Education is running a free* 6-week course for parents who struggle to help their children with maths homework.

The online course is for parents who would like to help their children with their maths homework but are not sure how to.  The tutor will guide you through how children learn. He will build your confidence so that you know how to approach the problem and put your children at ease. You will work in a small group together.

*The course is free if you are over 19 years old, have lived in the UK for 3 or more years or have a valid Residence Permit, and are one of the following: Unemployed or earning below £18,525 per year; Qualified below a Level 2 (less than 5 GCSEs); Have mental health challenges, Have a learning difficulty or disability.
