Following the sad news of the death of Queen Elizabeth II yesterday evening, the final three stages of The Tour of Britain have been cancelled. This means we will no longer be watching the cycle race today.

Yesterday we altered the collection time for Ash Class to accommodate the delays linked to the race, however it would be unfair to request another change to your plans. Ash Class should be collected at 1:30 today as arranged. 

Over the next few days and weeks, we will support children to understand the changes that are happening around them. As a society, it is natural to reflect back on our own experiences of grief or bereavement.  If you or your family require any additional support during this time, please let us know. Whatever your feelings for the monarchy, history has been made during her reign and 70 years of service is a remarkable achievement.
