Wow! What a fantastic week.  There were lots of incredible reasons for the ASPIRE awards this week including being respectful around the classroom, persevering in a reading activity and showing enjoyment and enthusiasm for learning!  Well done ASPIRE winners!

On Thursday, 2 pupils represented Andoversford at the K'nex final.  They visited Renishaw to take part in the county-wide competition where children were challenged to create a waterwheel or wind-turbine.  There were some amazing feats of engineering on display.  We are proud to announce that our team came 5th which is an incredible achievement.

We have seen lots of evidence of the ASPIRE values around school this week.  The Buttercups were victorious in the ASPIRE point race.  Our current totals are:

Bluebell = 1749

Buttercup = 1703

Rose = 1897

Thistle = 1866

Whole school total = 7205

We can't wait to see which House will raise the Sports Day trophy next week!
