World Book Day is exactly one month away! As you know, here at Andoversford, we absolutely LOVE reading! World Book Day is a great excuse for us to be able to spend the whole day celebrating the incredible selection of children's books which are on offer.

On Thursday 3rd March 2022, all classes will be getting to know the author M. G. Leonard a little better as we explore her work. There will be lots of fun activities throughout the day. Of course, as well as finding some new favourites, World Book Day is also a chance to share some of your old favourites too! This year, we are asking children to get creative for a special competition.

Can you make a book in a box? Bring in a shoebox displaying a scene from your favourite story. Get as creative as possible with your arts and crafts materials to win a prize! Judging will take place on World Book Day and will be announced in a special assembly at the end of the day. We can't wait to see what you come up with!

All competition entries should be brought into school in the morning of Thursday 3rd March 2022.
