Covid-19 Cases: Advice for All Parents20 January 2022 (by Rachel Bradley McKay (Head)) |
Although the Covid-19 news released by the government last night was positive for the country as a whole, we are currently experiencing an increase in case numbers within our school community. Please read the letter shared on the school website for updated advice and guidance for parents.
We have been advised by UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) that there have been several confirmed cases of COVID-19 within the school setting. At this time we remain below the threshold for an outbreak, however we are seeing a daily increase in the number of cases within the school community.
We appreciate that you may find this concerning, so we are continuing to monitor the situation. We are working closely with UKHSA to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and minimise disruption to our students.
The school remains open. If your child remains well, they can continue to attend school as normal. We will keep this under review and we may need to introduce attendance restrictions if the situation changes.
Please read the letter by following the link below to stay informed of the current situation and get up to date advice on how to support your child. You can also access the full Covid-19 Risk Assessment and Outbreak Management Plan on this page of the school website.
