We have received the following message from the North Cotswold Food Bank:
On behalf of the Trustees and all the Volunteers of the North Cotswold Foodbank, I would like to thank everyone at Andoversford School for the generous food donation received recently, following on from your Harvest Festival.
You may be interested to know that your donation weighed in at a fantastic 64.06kg!
The North Cotswold Foodbank is getting busier each year and we have been able to feed many local families who have found themselves in desperate need. The majority of our clients are low-income, working families and they are all deeply grateful that others would consider them at a very difficult time in their lives.
As people are facing rising prices in energy and food, I'm sure we are going to see the Foodbank get very busy again. The stock at our warehouse was beginning to run a bit low, but your Harvest donation will help to ensure that our Foodbank is well stocked, and struggling families will be able to at least put food on the table.
Without your generosity, we would not be able to offer this help, so thank you all for your wonderful support and kindness - it is very much appreciated and it really does make a difference to so many lives.
