Harvest Service19 October 2021 (by Rachel Bradley McKay (Head)) |
We are hopeful that the postponed Harvest Festival will be able to go ahead tomorrow morning at 9:00. However in light of the recent news, we have included some changes to make the service safer for our community. We will now be holding the service outside on the playground so that we avoid gathering in an inside area.
Although the event is now outside and will be in an open space, please respect those around you by maintaining distance from others. Originally, we placed a limit on numbers so that we would not have too large a group. Even though we are now outside, we do not have the staffing available to organise additional people and are asking families to send one adult to the service as planned. This helps us to keep the event manageable. A younger sibling is welcome to accompany the adult, however they must be kept with you at all times. This may not be suitable for some children. You know your children best so please make the decision which is best for your situation.
The PTFA have kindly offered to provide refreshments before the service. Tea and coffee will be available from 8:40, when children are dropped off at school. To avoid cross-contamination from used crockery, please bring your own mug along! They will also have a donations pot to collect contributions for tea and coffee as well as any entry money for the Pumpkin colouring competition.
Thank you for your support at this challenging time,
