The Governing Board

Mrs Sharon Hewlett

Co-Opted Governor

Term of Office 26/09/20 - 25/09/24

I joined the governing board in 2016 and was elected vice-chair in 2018 and chair in 2019. My background is in university teaching and management. I have enjoyed being able to use my knowledge of education funding and inspection to support the school whilst learning about the primary curriculum.  It is a privilege to see our pupils‘ love of learning and support for each other and the creativity and dedication of our staff.

Anne Dubock

Parent Governor

Term of Office 16/10/20 - 15/10/24

I joined the Governing body in October 2020 as a Parent Governor.  Being a Governor allows me to understand how the school is run and contribute to the longer term strategies and plans.  I have two children who have attended the school and during their time there I have been a member, Treasurer and Chair of the PTFA and have helped out in school by listening to the children read in various classes.  I work in the Financial Services industry as an IT consultant and have had various roles in that industry for more years than I care to remember.

NICKI JARVIS

PARENT GOVERNOR / VICE CHAIR

Term of Office 13/06/23 - 12/06/27

I joined the governing body in June 2023 as a parent governor and recently moved into the village.  With 2 children at the school (in Ash and Oak classes) and as a volunteer with the PTFA, I wanted to help the school to perform at its best and help where I can with my business knowledge (as a Director in a professional services firm).  I'm looking forward to spending more time in school and with the other governors to help develop and drive the school strategy and vision.

RUTH SHIRLEY

CO-OPTED GOVERNOR

Term of Office 22/05/23 - 21/05/27

I joined the Governing Body in June 2023 as a Co-opted Governor. At this time, my child was about to start at Andoversford Primary School in Reception. I live locally to the village and my background is in Primary Teaching (classroom based) and then running a nurture base in a large mainstream primary school. More recently I have started teaching students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties in a local, Cheltenham based college. I look forward to supporting the hard-working staff at Andoversford, within my role as a Governor, and am excited to be a part of this team.
